This week in Flax Bourton we have been exploring the garden with hoops and balls, rolling balls through tunnels, making mud pies and enjoying the sun shine!
Back inside we have been dancing and singing nursery rhymes- row row row your boat, singing with musical instruments listening to rhyme and rhythm.
We have also been washing babies and exploring water play with different water toys! Exploring indoor toys and reading stories.
After the bank holiday weekend we were excited to get back to being with our friends and adults in Kindergarten! We are all working and learning about how we play together safely, kindly and respectfully with our friends. We know that we have to take turns, share and look out for our friends as we play.
This week we have also taken part in the recognition of VE Day. We watched footage of the fly past ceremony that was on on the weekend and saw all the soldiers marching with their horses to Buckingham Palace. We then worked together to make our own Union Jack flag to display!
As the weather has still been so nice we have been out in the garden playing lots. We are all really interested in playing on the bikes, we have to make sure we keep trying to use the pedals to move ourselves around the track and keep pedalling so we go faster and faster!
This week in Pre-School had been super fun! We have enjoyed exploring different textures in the tuff trays, building many many houses and towers, and of course a bit of yoga! Puzzles again have been a favourite and this week, we completed a tiger who came to tea puzzle. At time together we have been talking about going to school, and we're all super exited! We have also been chatting about what we have been up to over our bank holiday.
Out on the decking we have enjoyed water play, being in the sandpit building more mountains and houses. As the weather has been gorgeous again, the garden was filled with ice cream shops, pirate dens and secret castles! To top the week off we did some dancing and took a trip to the park. Well done Pre-School for a lovely week!
