Nursery
This week in Nursery we have been playing with the diggers, pushing them along in the mud and filling up our dump trucks with soil!
We have also been challenging ourselves with puzzles, matching the fruits together on the board.
We also made a tea party, using teabags and pouring the cool water into cups - we did a great job of doing this very carefully.
We also had lots of fun and giggles using the parachute, throwing it up high in the air and watching it flutter back down!
Kindergarten
This week in Kindergarten we have had a great time getting artistic! We have been developing our fine motor skills through painting and mark making, as well as a fruit chopping activity! This was very exciting as we were able to make our own snack, and choose which fruits we wanted.
We received some more role play builders outfits - including vests and hard hats - which we tried on and posed for the camera. In the garden our toys needed a good clean, so we got them all soapy and scrubbed them with cloths!
We have also been enjoying having quiet time with stories, so we had an Elmer the Elephant themed tuff tray, where we sprayed the four with colourful water to match Elmer's patchwork squares.
Pre-School
This week in Pre-School we have been exploring the book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar"! This involved lots of reading and counting, as we explored all the amounts of fruit and veg the caterpillar ate on his journey.
We got stuck into a beach themed sensory tray! We enjoyed picking up the shells, the adults encouraged us to hold them up to our ear so we could hear the ocean - wow!
We have been exploring our Poetry Basket, getting to know this season's poems in our new reading shed. We recognised the objects featured in each poem!
