This Week in Downend (W/C 7th September 2020)
This week in Downend, Nursery have been busy role playing in the kitchen preparing the babies some lovely baked goods. Some children have been expanding on their colour skills by matching the pop up colours. The babies have also been exploring their new cosy area, a beautiful tee pee tent.
In Kindergarten this week they have been spending a lot of time in the garden. Some children have been practising their balancing skills on an obstacle course whilst others have been having lots of fun blowing and popping bubbles. Back inside the children have been using their fine motor skills to thread cubes onto pipe cleaners.
Pre-School this week have been having lots of fun playing party games, they played pass the parcel, pin the donkey, musical chairs and even some dancing! In the role play area the children have been playing café’s and took it in turn to be the shopkeeper and in the art studio they have been creating colourful stars using the dabbers. Outside some children went worm hunting – they very carefully had a hold before putting them back down.
