This Week in Downend (W/C 3rd August 2020)

This week in Downend, some babies have been playing peek a boo with the sensory mirrored blocks and some have been taking care of the dolls by feeding and looking after them. They have also been using different sized balls to slot into tubes to which ones would drop to the bottom.

This week in Kindergarten they have been enjoying singing nursery rhymes together. In particular they have enjoying singing and giggling to “one little finger” and “Miss Polly had a dolly”. Kindergarten have also been getting creative by making some artwork – there was butterflies, trains and even dinosaurs!

In Pre-School this week they have been using their imagination and construction skills. Using small magnetic shapes they built a castle and using the large foam bricks they created a farm house for the animals to sleep in.
