This week in Coombe Dingle (W/C 4th April 2016)
This week in Coombe Dingle, Nursery have been very busy! They have been exploring water in their roof top garden by watching coloured water move down the pipes. Some babies took an interest in using open ended resources by exploring through their senses. The babies have been using various textures such as tissue paper and rice krispies to help make wonderful collages.
Kindergarten have been enjoying sticking and cutting this week. The children were sticking on eyes and noses to make cows for their new Spring board. Also some of the children were able to enjoy the sunshine and went off for a little trip to the local park. Both adults and children had fun on the slide and rocker.
Pre-Schoolers have taken a real interest in dinosaurs, so they have revamped their home-corner into dinosaur cave. They have decorated the cave with charcoal handprints and have been making dinosaurs footprints from dinosaurs and coloured paints. This week the children have also been planting seeds in garden.
