This week in Coombe Dingle (W/C 11th April 2016)
This week in Coombe Dingle, Nursery have been painting lots using their hands to explore the paint and make different marks. They have also used lentils to make ‘silly soup’ for letters and sounds, focusing on objects beginning with B. They have also been planting sunflowers!
Kindergarten have spent some time outside making a construction yard, they enjoyed putting on hard hats and using tools to move heavy blocks! Some children used their fine motor skills by threading string through wooden blocks. They used different coloured paints in shaving foam to see what colours they could make.
Pre-School this week have been asking their friends about their favourite colours, and then creating bar charts from their findings. They also started to celebrate the Queen’s birthday by making some royal crowns!
