This Week in Coombe Dingle (W/C 6th July 2020)
This week at Coombe Dingle, babies have been exploring the rooftop garden and the blackboards on the wall. Some children used chalk to make marks, whilst some discovered that water clears away the chalk and can make marks too! Back inside the babies explored individual water trays, playing with the toy ducks and discovering the pebbles hiding at the bottom of the tray.
Kindergarten have been getting creative this week, making their own collages. The children chose from lots of different shapes, and picked from feathers, fabric and glitter to make sparkling dragons, rockets and butterflies! Some children explored a dinosaur themed tray this week, with toy dinosaurs hidden amongst paper ‘rocks’! The children role played with the toys and read through books on dinosaurs too.
This week Pre-School have been really active! Some children took part in an obstacle course in the garden, jumping through hoops and carefully aiming Frisbees at a goal. Indoors the children had a dance party, moving to music with their peers and practicing all their best moves!
