This Week in Coombe Dingle (W/C 22nd June 2020)
This week at Coombe Dingle, babies have been busy making collages! The children chose from lots of different pieces of paper, pompoms and feathers and chose where to carefully stick them down. The children focused really well on this and ended up with some wonderful masterpieces! Babies have also been exploring the top garden in the sunshine, spending time in the mud kitchen role playing with the utensils, pots and pans.
Kindergarten this week have been hunting for minibeasts! They used magnifying glasses to explore outside, looking up close to see what different animals they can find. Kindergarten have also been exploring the stamps this week, carefully pressing down to discover what shapes they can make and creating amazing artwork.
This week Pre-School have been busy practising their yoga poses! The children copied Sophie’s instructions brilliantly. Pre-School have also been junk modelling this week, making a rocket ship from cardboard boxes and tinfoil! The children chose to decorate the ship how they chose, and enjoyed role playing inside it later. Pre-School have also explored watercolour paints this week, looking at how the colours can blend and mix together – even creating new colours!
