This Week at Forest School – Coombe Dingle (W/C 6th May 2019)

Judi’s Forest School

Hello Everyone,

Are you getting ready for June yet? Planning your walks and picnics? How about making a nature table at home? What about cuddling your favourite tree together? Or maybe go moon or star gazing? There are plenty more ideas like this in the little “Go Wild” booklets that you can pick up from the reception window ledge. Let’s all try to do one wild thing every day in June!!

Our Babies have been going wild down by the stream,

Here is Birdie getting everything off to a good start. “ Hello Everyone!”

Our story is about a worm so we are all picking a pipe cleaner to be our own worms.

I can’t decide what colour to have!!

Mmmmmm so many different colours!

Yes, a red one, that’s my favourite colour.

Oh my! There is a spider in the story too! Sooo many legs!!

OK everyone I will read the story. Quiet at the back there!

Please, we’re just getting to the good part.

Oh my goodness, this is such a good book.

Yes I quite agree, definitely Booker Prize standard.

Ah well, all good things come to an end. Time to go everyone, back into your pushchairs. Goodbye River see you next week.

Time for 1,2,3 where are you? This looks like a good place to hide!

Today is quite damp and we have seen more snails than ever before. Here is one that we found while we were hiding.

Our story has been a bit magical today so we decided to make some magic wands, with, wait for it………bells on!

Mine is going to be a stick of many colours

Here it is finished, Goatie says he loves it. So do I.

Just testing out the magic powers.

Goatie likes my magic wand too.

And mine, I think they are all very magic. Look out everyone at home, here we come with our magic spells!

Goodbye for this week.

I am on holiday next week and off to  Forest School Gathering this weekend so I’ll see you all when I get back !
